According to The Times, Manchester United is considering a move for Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos.
The 22-year-old is valued at around £50 million, and United is exploring whether a deal could be possible this summer.
Santos has impressed since returning to Chelsea, but his long-term role at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain. The Brazil international wants regular starts, and a move could become possible if he does not receive enough assurances over his place in the team.
Manchester United is looking to strengthen its midfield before the new season, and Santos has emerged as one of the names under consideration. The Red Devils have also been linked with several other central midfielders as they look to reshape that area of the squad.
Chelsea is unlikely to let Santos leave cheaply, especially after his development over the last two seasons. However, the player’s situation could become one to watch if United decides to make a formal approach.
Santos joined Chelsea from Vasco da Gama in 2023 and has since built his reputation with loan spells at Nottingham Forest and Strasbourg.
