According to Football Italia, Fiorentina has agreed a deal with Tottenham Hotspur for Radu Drăgușin.
The Romanian international is set to return to Serie A on an initial loan, with the agreement including an obligation to buy if certain conditions are met.
Drăgușin has also accepted the move, which should allow the transfer to move toward completion. Fiorentina has been looking to strengthen its defensive options this summer, and the Tottenham defender has now emerged as one of the club’s main targets.
The 24-year-old joined Tottenham from Genoa in January 2024 after impressing in Italy, but he struggled to secure a regular starting place in North London.
Tottenham has added more defensive depth this summer, which has made Drăgușin’s path to first-team soccer even more difficult. A move to Fiorentina would give him a chance to play more regularly and return to a league where he previously made his name.
If the obligation is triggered, the deal would become permanent at the end of the season.
